Meet the Atmosphere Crew
Lindsay- Co Owner, Main fabric cutter
Lindsay was born and raised in Laramie, and after traveling internationally, has decided that her home is here. She loves how friendly and caring the people of Laramie are, as well as their willingness to always lend a hand. Her favorite food is beans and Vietnamese Cuisine. When working, Lindsay can typically be found listening to cool jazzy hip-hop, podcasts, or books on tape. The proximity to trails is her favorite part of Laramie. She has an epic list of places she wants to visit and enjoys traveling.
Jeff- Co owner, Print Monkey
Jeff loves downtown Laramie. He says it’s full of great people doing really cool things, delicious food, and awesome shops! He has spent most of his life here by choice, but loves traveling internationally. Jeff loves biking, hiking, and the color lapis. When working, he listens to podcasts and books on tape, with his favorite book being “The Emerald Mile”. Summer salads are one of his favorite foods because the produce is so fresh. Jeff’s dream is to keep doing what he is doing for as long as possible, and also wants to visit New Zealand for a few months.
Hillery- Master of the Stitch
Hillery’s favorite part of Laramie is the friendliness, ease, and close proximity to outdoor recreation. The Snowy Range is where she likes to spend as much of her free time as she can. Heavy metal synth is one of her favorite things to listen to. Hillery loves noodles! She enjoys going on runs, biking, and hiking with her dog, Chainsaw. Her future dreams include going on a hot air balloon ride, biking the entire Continental Divide Trail with her dog, and making her whole yard bloom with flowers.
Olivia aka “Liv”- Stitch Witch
Liv loves the proximity to mountain biking, ski touring, and camping locations that Laramie brings. She is typically listening to audiobooks and investigative journalism/first person storytelling podcasts or hip hop tunes while sewing. When Liv isn’t working, she loves trying new sour beer, cooking, and doing crossword puzzles. She is also a painter and has a few murals in the Laramie area. Her favorite food is curry. One day, she would like to live in the desert.
Mary- Master Seamster
Mary is a native Laramiga who has always appreciated having the outdoors at her doorstep, not just the mountains but the sweeping plains full of hidden ephemeral. She really loves and fully embraces the “we can do it here” undercurrent in the community. She likes to remain a mystery, but did have her child with an Elvis impersonator. Mary can typically be found listening to podcasts, darkwave, and gothwave. She enjoys anything made from fresh ingredients and made with love. Her dream in life is to make the best future possible for her son.
Josie- retail therapist & Seamster
Josie is currently studying psychology and sociology at UW. After she graduates, she hopes to travel the world and continue her studies on the east coast. She loves the friendliness and quirks of Laramie and her favorite things to do include reading a new book at a local coffee shop and driving up to the mountains. Josie has a kitten named Gwendolyn (Gwen) who loves playing with thread and hates mirrors. While working, Josie loves to listen to audiobooks, news podcasts and 90s tunes.
Antonia aka “Toni”- Seamster
Toni loves how strong the art, culture, and community is in a small Wyoming town like Laramie. She likes learning about the connectivity of everything in existence through nature and science. When sewing, she is typically listening to a podcast, audiobooks, or music. Toni loves all food and wants to travel and see as much of this earth as she can. Her dog, Loki, is her best friend in the entire world.
Kayla aka “OGK” - Retail Therapist, Seamster
Kayla is a pre veterinary medicine student at UW and would one day love to have her own large animal and equine veterinary practice. She has been around horses since a little kid which inspired that dream. She will try anything at least once and loves branching outside of her comfort zone. Kayla’s favorite food is sushi. Typically, she listens to true crime podcasts, but also likes country music. Her favorite thing to do in Laramie is walking through campus and hiking in Medicine Bow. She prides herself on her pet names: a beagle named Jello and two cats named Scout and Crouton.
Mare - sultan of floor sales
Mare grew up in Laramie and stayed to study music and journalism at UW. She enjoys the simple pleasures in life: basketball, live music, and sunny days. When she’s not practicing bass, she can be found fly fishing, participating in the local music scene, or on an adventure in the Snowy Range with her dog, Greta. Mare listens to anything, but her favorites are shoegaze and hip hop. She prides herself in being one of the biggest Cowboy and Cowgirl Basketball fans and lives for March Madness. Eventually, Mare would like to become a sports journalist (with better takes than Stephen A. Smith)
Madeline - Retail Therapist, Seamster
Madeline loves Laramie because of its closeness to outdoor recreation, kind people, and huge pine trees in town. While sewing, Madeline likes listening to paranormal and science podcasts. When not working, she can be found reading with tea, creating new clothes from thrifted textiles, and spending time in the mountains. She dreams of travelling to many places, but first on her list is the Arctic.
Jenna - Floor fairy
Jenna is a born and raised Wyomingite. She graduated with a Zoology and Outdoor Leadership degree from UW. Along with the wide accessibility of public lands, Jenna loves Laramie because there are always events taking place and people working to better the community. She enjoys hiking with her dogs, snowboarding, and being involved with wildlife conservation and research. Jenna has gotten to work with wood frogs and chipmunks! When she’s not out adventuring, you can find her cozied up playing video games and eating a grilled cheese with tomato soup. One day, Jenna dreams of becoming a mushroom in the forest.
Chainsaw- snack acceptor, shop CHIHUAHUA
Chainsaw is 10 lbs of tough and can keep up on any hike, run, or ski. He also enjoys a nice ride in a backpack or bike basket. His ears are perfectly flopped. Chainsaw loves coming to work to hang out with all of his girlfriends and often sneaks down from the loft to see them. He loves string cheese and listening to heavy metal synth with Hillery. His dream is to catch the squirrel that taunts him outside of the bedroom window every morning.
Timber aka “timmy”- emotional support Specialist
Timmy loves swimming in alpine lakes, roaming around the prairie, and hanging out at downtown bar and restaurant patios with Liv. He is a super chill pup, but enjoys mountain biking and ski touring. Timber’s name is fun to shout in a forest. Apple cores are his favorite food and he can often be found napping to the sound of the sewing machines. He is living the dream and wouldn’t wish for anything else!
Lee melon aka “melly”, “smi-lee melOn”- break instigator ——— R.I.P.
Lee loves the smells, the parks, and the smells at the parks here in Laramie. She also likes the cool fall temperatures, or sitting in a snow bank when the air is warm. Lee is part husky, German shepherd, and border collie. She likes toys, but never destroys them at home, instead she takes good care of them preferring to lick them over tearing them apart. She loves listening to the store ambience, but not her coworkers when they tell her to take a break from the hot storefront window. Lee also likes acid jazz! Her favorite snack is chicken and fish skins and she dreams of visiting the beach one day. She lives by the quote “Be cool, don’t worry, everything is everywhere”.
