Meet the Atmosphere Crew
Lindsay- Co Owner, Main fabric cutter
Lindsay was born and raised in Laramie, and after traveling internationally, has decided that her home is here. She loves how friendly and caring the people of Laramie are, as well as their willingness to always lend a hand. Her favorite food is beans and Vietnamese Cuisine. When working, Lindsay can typically be found listening to cool jazzy hip-hop, podcasts, or books on tape. The proximity to trails is her favorite part of Laramie. She has an epic list of places she wants to visit and enjoys traveling.
Jeff- Co owner, Spreadsheet Guru
Jeff loves downtown Laramie. He says it’s full of great people doing really cool things, delicious food, and awesome shops! He has spent most of his life here by choice, but loves traveling internationally. Jeff loves biking, hiking, and the color lapis. When working, he listens to podcasts and books on tape, with his favorite book being “The Emerald Mile”. Summer salads are one of his favorite foods because the produce is so fresh. Jeff’s dream is to keep doing what he is doing for as long as possible, and also wants to visit New Zealand for a few months.
Hillery- Master of the Stitch
Hillery’s favorite part of Laramie is the friendliness, ease, and close proximity to outdoor recreation. The Snowy Range is where she likes to spend as much of her free time as she can. Heavy metal synth is one of her favorite things to listen to. Hillery loves noodles! She enjoys going on runs, biking, and hiking with her dog, Chainsaw. Her future dreams include going on a hot air balloon ride, biking the entire Continental Divide Trail with her dog, and making her whole yard bloom with flowers.
Mary- Master Seamster
Mary is a native Laramiga who has always appreciated having the outdoors at her doorstep, not just the mountains but the sweeping plains full of hidden ephemeral. She really loves and fully embraces the “we can do it here” undercurrent in the community. She likes to remain a mystery, but did have her child with an Elvis impersonator. Mary can typically be found listening to podcasts, darkwave, and gothwave. She enjoys anything made from fresh ingredients and made with love. Her dream in life is to make the best future possible for her son.
Mare - Seamster
Mare grew up in Laramie and loves it here. She enjoys the simple pleasures in life: basketball, live music, and sunny days. When not sewing, she can be found fly fishing, playing bass in the local music scene, or on an adventure in the Snowy Range with her 2 Great Pyrenees, Fischer and Junie. While sewing, Mare likes to watch Gilmore Girls and listen to Shoegaze.
Jenna - Seamster
Jenna is a born and raised Wyomingite. She graduated with a Zoology and Outdoor Leadership degree from UW. Along with the wide accessibility of public lands, Jenna loves Laramie because there are always events taking place and people working to better the community. She enjoys hiking with her dogs, snowboarding, and being involved with wildlife conservation and research. Jenna has gotten to work with wood frogs and chipmunks! When she’s not out adventuring, you can find her cozied up playing video games and eating a grilled cheese with tomato soup. One day, Jenna dreams of becoming a mushroom in the forest.
Kurtis - Seamster
Kurtis is a bike rider and runner therefore his favorite part of Laramie are the dirt roads north of town. He also loves to cross country ski, snowboard and bike with his friends and family, but he probably like making clothes or bags for those activities more than actually doing them. He enjoys listening to comedy or news podcasts and historical fiction audio books. His favorite food is falafel and one of his dreams is to one day create documentary films about the people and places around him.
Julep - Floor Expert & Seamster
Julep loves the kindness of the people in Laramie. She feels that folks care about one another and knows how special it is to live in a community where every member is seen and valued. Living close to the mountains is important to her love of the outside especially in the snow skiing (both downhill and nordic). Julep also sings in choirs and is crafty, creating thing by hand. She listens to Noah Kahan, Adele, and any podcast she stumbles across. Julep adores the color pink and quesadillas! She plans on being a nurse practitioner who can help others, she knows she will have lots of dogs and wants to travel the world.
Iris - Floor expert & Seamster
Iris was born in Fort Collins and moved to Laramie for school. Iris loves the welcoming people and energy of Laramie. Growing up in Fort Collins, she never got the opportunity to appreciate the charm that comes with living in a smaller town. While working, Iris typically likes to listen to Big Thief, Jack Johnson, Olivia Dean, and Lake Street Dive. When she isn’t working you can often catch Iris with a craft, good book, or practicing martial arts. Iris’s favorite food is any and all breakfast food. Iris dreams of becoming an Art Teacher as well as travelling and seeing the world.
Reese - Floor Fairy
Reese’s favorite thing about Laramie is the people, and loves that everyone welcomes you like family. Reese listens to Indy Rock ( buffalo traffic jam, or backseat lovers) and loves chicken… really in every way. She wants to build a life around epic adventures like rafting the grand canyon, climbing big mountains and exploring the Austrian Alps.
Evelyn - Ms. Customer Service
Evelyn LOVES being so close the mountains for hiking or other adventures. She listens to Audioslave and pearl jam mixes and wants to be an immigration lawyer. Her favorite food is a dish called “Marry me chickpea orzo.”
Nita - Floor expert & Professional Yapper
Nita was born and lived in Farmington, New Mexico for most of her life, before moving to Wyoming. She is a Studio Art and Art History Major at the University. She loves how many animals are out and about in Laramie. At work, Nita loves to listen to Phoebe Bridgers, Hippo Campus, and Sierra Ferrell. She loves physical music: cassettes, CDs, vinyls, all of it! In her free time, you can find her knitting, crocheting, fishing, or hiking with her cat. Nita always enjoys a good bowl of soup or anything with noodles. She dreams of traveling, working as an artist, going to every art museum, and the expensive dream of owning a printing press.
Chainsaw - Snack Accepter and Shop Chihuahua
Chainsaw is 10 lbs of tough and can keep up on any hike, run, or ski. He also enjoys a nice ride in a backpack or bike basket. His ears are perfectly flopped. Chainsaw loves coming to work to hang out with all of his girlfriends and often sneaks down from the loft to see them. He loves string cheese and listening to heavy metal synth with Hillery. His dream is to catch the squirrel that taunts him outside of the bedroom window every morning.
Lupa - 100% Fluff Ball
New to Laramie and the shop but is loving EVERYONE! Laramie is going to be a great spot for her, she loves all the recreation opportunities and the parks!
